What is Reflective Alignment?
Reflective Alignment is a state of living in which your actions and your values are in ongoing conversation.
It is a practice of self-awareness and intentional choice-making that accepts your life as a changing landscape, not a fixed state.
You don’t have to get it “right” all the time.
Instead, Reflective Alignment helps you notice when you have drifted from what matters to you, understand why, and choose how to respond without shame, guilt, or pressure to perform.
Why the term?
The phrase emerged from blending two ideas:
Reflection: the act of looking inward with honesty, curiosity, and self-responsibility.
Alignment: the state of living in harmony with your chosen values, priorities, and direction.
By pairing them, we name a process that isn’t static or prescriptive but cyclical, adaptive, and grounded in personal agency.
How does it work?
The process is made up of four Elements you can revisit in any order:
Inherited Beliefs
Self-Knowing
Embodied Choices
Recalibration
