Elements of Reflective Alignment

The Elements of Reflective Alignment aren’t steps to follow in a fixed order.

They are parts of a living process you can enter at any point, return to often, and adapt to any area of your life.

  • Examine the narratives, assumptions, and conditioning you’ve absorbed from family, culture, institutions, and personal experience.

    Questions to explore:

    • Which beliefs still serve you?

    • Which no longer align?

    • Where did they come from?

  • Clarify your current values, identity, and direction, including your vision for the future and the principles you want to uphold.

    Questions to explore:

    • Who am I now?

    • What do I value most?

    • Where do I want to go?

  • Translate your self-knowing into intentional action. Create rhythms, habits, and supports that uphold your chosen path.

    Questions to explore:

    • What structures will help me live my values?

    • How do I make decisions that reflect who I am?

  • Notice when things drift from alignment. Unpack why and fine-tune your actions or beliefs to realign with your values.

    Questions to explore:

    • Where have I drifted?

    • Why did this approach stop working?

    • Do my intentions or priorities need to change?
